// delete my account

Delete your account.

Three ways to delete your Konsolity account and everything it holds on our servers. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

From the app

On macOS, Windows, Linux, iPhone, iPad and Android: open Vault, section "Account and sync", then "Delete account". The app asks for your master password to confirm.

From the account console

Sign in at app.konsolity.com with the code sent by e-mail (then your two-factor code if it is on), open Profile, then "Delete account". Confirm by typing the e-mail address of the account. The console does not ask for the master password: it does not know it.

Open the console

Without access to the app or the console

Write to support@konsolity.com from the e-mail address of the account and ask for its deletion. We carry it out and confirm by e-mail, within 30 days at most.

App Store or Google Play subscription

Deleting the account does not stop a subscription bought in a store. Cancel it first in the App Store (Settings › your name › Subscriptions) or in Google Play (Profile › Payments and subscriptions › Subscriptions).

What is deleted

  • The account and its e-mail address.
  • The signed-in devices, their access tokens and the sessions announced between devices.
  • The synced encrypted vault: hosts, identities, keys, synced settings.
  • The Claude connector (MCP) authorizations and their requests.
  • The subscription and its history, the audit log, the sign-in countries, the two-factor and recovery codes.

Timing: immediate. The encrypted server backups erase themselves within 30 days; nobody can read them in the meantime.

The local vault on your devices is not touched: it stays on each device until you delete it. Export it first if you want to keep your data.

What is kept

  • Card invoices and payments stay with Stripe, our payment provider, for our accounting and tax obligations. A running Stripe subscription is canceled automatically.
  • A technical log of the e-mails sent (message type, date, masked address and its hash, never the content), including the deletion confirmation.
  • Messages sent through the contact form, if any: ask for their erasure in the same e-mail.
